In the transformation towards becoming more circular and resource-efficient, many decisions need to be made. To support these decisions, assessments are vital as they act as enablers and convincers that a certain change is the right approach. Even if it is a circular transformation, it must lead to a state better than before. On this topic, Johan Vogt Duberg, together with Tomohiko Sakao, presented a paper at the Swedish Production Symposium conference, April 23 – 26, 2024. The results, as part of the SCANDERE research project, practically demonstrated how a manufacturing company can adjust its circular PaaS business model based on insights from scenario-based financial assessments to outperform its linear business-as-usual counterpart. doi.org/10.3233/ATDE240195
